 The Dreaded ‘Price Dance’

It’s one of the most difficult parts of selling:  when and how to bring up price.

Many sales consultants advise you to hold off on discussing price until after you’ve delivered your sales pitch.  Price will become less of an obstacle, they argue, if the prospect likes what you’re selling.  But buyers don’t want to wait that long.  They want to know if they can afford what you’re selling before they go through the entire presentation process.

And so you have this dreaded price dance – a frustratingly unproductive tango between the buyer and seller.

This section was prepared to help you avoid that dance.  Below we’ve provided some guidelines for estimating a price for a particular project or month-to-month program.

If you have any questions about your project or our pricing, please contact us and we’ll talk it through.  Thank you.

Project vs. Monthly Pricing

When you work with us, you have your choice of working arrangements.

You can hire us on (1) a Project basis or (2) on a Monthly basis.

With Projects, we will work on a very specific assignment which may include single or multiple projects.  As a starting point, we will help you develop specifications for your project – and then we’ll create an estimate and timetable based on those specifications.

See our Project list and pricing.  Of for copywriting only, see our Copywriting Fee Schedule.

With Monthly arrangements, we will work with you and your staff over an extended period of time (minimum of 3 months).  We can work on a single project or multiple projects as needed.

By working with you over a longer period, we will become more familiar with your company, your markets and your products or services.   We will also be able to handle many smaller assignments that you may not want to assign as a project.

We offer several levels of Monthly pricing based on the amount of time you want to commit.
