Email Marketing for Lead Nurturing and Lead Generation
While it continues to evolve as a marketing channel, email gives marketers a low-cost alternative to direct mail.
Although direct mail still has many advantages, email allows to reach the same targeted audience faster, easier and for just pennies per contact.
There are two very different applications of email:
- Opt-In Email – this is a lead nurturing application – sending email messages to people who have opted in to your lists – who have asked to receive your email
- Cold Email – this is a lead generation application, sending email to a cold list of prospects and generating leads from those who respond

How We Work
For opt-in email, we use Constant Contact as our email service platform. We typically set up accounts on behalf of our clients, but they own the account so they are free to use the platform with or without our involvement.
Our work will vary with the needs and priorities of the client.
For cold email, we use third-part list/data sources and email service providers. We do not use Constant Contact for cold email. (FYI- cold email is prohibited by Constant Contact and many of its competitors.)
Lead generation campaigns start with two key factors – the email list and the offer. We will work with you and your team to build or acquire an email list for your campaign. We will also help you find or develop an offer to maximize the response to your email. This may include the creation of a lead magnet – an informational guide or other resource that your target audience will have.
With your list and offer in place, we will create your email (or emails for multi-touch campaigns) and have it integrated with your website or a dedicated landing page.
In the end, we will review your results and make recommendations for adjustments.
We offer different pricing models depending on your needs:
- Monthly fee – $250/month plus email creative ($300-$600 per email)
- Monthly fee – quoted based on a fixed number and type of emails per month
- Project fee – quoted based on specifications (e.g., a series of drip emails)
Fees do not include the cost of Constant Contact which starts at approximately $50 per month.
Our full-service email campaign includes list building, creative (for email and a landing page), supervision of email deployment and post-campaign analysis and adjustment.
Fees: $3,000-$5,000 (depending on scope of work)
Fees do not include the cost of data to build or acquire your list, or production costs for email deployment or landing page hosting.
