What is Outbound Lead Generation?


In recent years, we’ve all become familiar with the workings of Google where searchers seek out the products or services they want – similar to how the Yellow Pages worked in the past. This has become known as Inbound Lead Generation.

Outbound Lead Generation takes a very different approach.

While each project is different and fully customize, we generally follow this process …

Find your audience – we will help you create your Ideal Customer Profile, and then we’ll help you find that audience in the form of direct mail lists, email lists (for B2B only) or advertising segmentations.

Select your channel – how you reach your audience depends on the marketing channel you use – direct mail, cold email or digital advertising. Pick one, two or all three channels for maximum coverage

Create your message – there are multiple ways to tell your story and it can vary with different audience segments. We can help you identify your message or messages, and show you how we can test different messages at the same time.

Develop your CTA – your Call-to-Action or CTA is what drives your response – both in terms of quantity and quality. We will show you how to develop a CTA strategy with the flexibility you need to adjust on fly.

Track your response – in direct response marketing, everything gets tracked and measured – and then compared to other campaigns – as way of continually improving your marketing and lead generation performance.

Nurture your leads – most leads don’t close right away, so you need some way to stay in touch and to nurture those leads over time. We offer you several options for lead follow-up including outbound phone, triggered email sequences, drip email sequences and retargeting ad campaigns.
