I remember when we first became aware of email as a communications tool.  

No one talked about it as a marketing tool.  

In fact, the early adopters of email explicitly made the point that email should never be used for marketing purposes.

So much for that.

The fact is email is an ideal marketing tool. It allows you to target individuals.  Delivery is almost immediate and response can be just as quick.  Plus it’s affordable – very affordable.

When email marketing became an accepted practice, we started seeing email companies begin to offer services to help business owners use this new tool.

What was I have been using Constant Contact since 2004 and I love it. I recommend it to all of my clients and everyone I know.

What sets Constant Contact apart?

I use a lot of platforms for different business and marketing applications.  They are all different and not always that intuitive.  When I am working on a platform – especially when it’s new to me – I have a lot fo questions.

Most platforms offer email support which can take up to 24 hours to get an answer.  Some offer chat support which is faster but often involves delay and less than simple communications.  Very few offer phone support.  In most cases, when phone support is available, you are eligible only if you are at the platform’s highest user level.

Not Constant Contact.  Constant Contact offers free phone support to all users.  And I seldom wait for someone to pick up.

It’s a wonderful benefit.  The people who work in support really know their stuff and they are very patient with everyone.

This is what makes Constant Contact stand apart from all the others. 

About the FREE Trial

When you click on the button above, you will go right to Constant Contact home page where you can sign up for the free trial.

When you sign up for the free trial, you will be able to create emails, build your mailing list and actually mail to your list for 60 days without a commitment.

The only catch is that you will be limited to 100 email addresses (or 60 days whichever comes first). As soon as your list goes over 100 addresses, your trial is over.

But I suspect you’re going to sign up with Constant Contact long before your trial is over.

When you do sign up and become a customer, you can pay as you go on a month-to-month basis or if you want to save a few dollars (actually more than a few), you can pay for 6 or 12 months in advance. And speaking of discounts, non-profits are automatically eligible for a 30% discount if you can provide the non-profit status paperwork.

Constant Contact is a self-serve email service that you can access online. There is no software or downloads required. Once you are registered (as a trial user or a paying customer), you just sign in using your user name and password – and start working online.

Constant Contact has done a great job making it easy for you to get started and execute email campaigns (email blasts) almost immediately. (I have used other similar systems and this is, by far, the easiest).

Of course, if you’re a true do-it-yourselfer, you can just sign up and take care of everything on your own.

Project or retainer

Yes, we can work with you on a project-by-project basis, but email marketing is best used when you can establish a level of frequency and consistency. If you are planning to use our services, you might want to look at developing a retainer arrangement that includes a weekly or monthly email schedule.
